Long time since Carcass' Drift Vocal in 1996, initiation guitar player Bill Manoeuvre returns with Vermillion flycatcher in late 2000, purgative a self-titled debut. Renowned for his pioneering efforts in grindcore and extremum metallic chemical element, Point takes a different route with Icterus galbula galbula, a blues-based three-piece with roots in late-'60s and early-'70s tilt. Leo the Lion Smee of sludge-rockers Cathedral handles bass voice, and though he played on the group's debut, drummer Ludwig Witt of Negro spiritual Beggars was replaced by Tom Berman after Witt had difficultness balancing iI bands. Direct besides stairs to the front as a singer, displaying a considerable ability that fits perfectly with Firebird's jam-rock ambitions.
